Laser Bra/Laser Assisted Breast Surgery

The laser bra breast reduction and breast lift technique offers our patients a more elevated and proportionate bustline. The internal bra is constructed using your own tissue, so you can’t feel that it’s there. Our internal bra patients typically achieve beautiful, lasting contours with a minimized recovery time. The actual size of the incisions is usually not reduced with this technique, but the shape is enhanced and lasts longer than with other techniques.

About the Surgery

After Dr. Paul LoVerme makes the initial incisions, he will use liposuction to contour the breasts and use a CO2 laser or surgical instruments on the remaining skin, which is usually discarded, to form an internal bra. If not enough skin is available, an acellular matrix may be used. This internal bra will be attached to the chest wall to lift and support the breast tissue. The laser bra procedure is performed under sedation or general anesthesia and takes two to three hours to complete. The laser bra technique generally allows for minimal pain and swelling, and normal routines can usually be resumed within one to two weeks.
